Vulnerable

This is an acrylic paint on canvas work. I've been thinking about how lungs look like angel wings. And how airways are like tree branches. I've been feeling vulnerable with this coronavirus pandemic as I have bilateral lung problems. In the process of creating this work, the vulnerability of being a woman also worked its way into it. This piece incorporates humility, fear, and vulnerability I think.
