"What Informs Decision?"
This painting shows women who were finally allowed to vote. They are dressed in their traditional clothing for this valued right. Each person in line is deep in thought and not aware of what is at the front of the line... a bird leading the way! The landscape is unclear, the edges blurry and the voters remain in their heads as they wait to cast their votes. "What Informs Decision?" is significant in this time of extreme polarization of political thought and national values. Confusion and distrust reign heavily over Americans' views on news sources, censorship, racism, propaganda, conspiracy, science and health. What informs our thinking should be front and center for each of us as we go about our daily lives during this tumultuous time.
