Right side up- upside down-tossed about-haphazard-unforeseen-chaos-multilayered. These words come to mind when describing the year 2020 and this artwork. This relief sculpture spells out the word of this feared disease, as the police officer in the corner writes out a ticket with his required protective mask. Random objects strewn about add to the confusion and surprising end result. Painted in silver tones with black drybrush highlight the many shapes and materials. The year (so far) filled with both anxiety and hope for a better future.
